Do the most important work in energy.

Join the people who find, produce and deliver energy in 27 countries, and who are cutting the emissions that come with every barrel. Bring your skills. We will give you the assets, the training and the responsibility.

We produce 842,000 barrels of oil equivalent a day, and we have to cut the emissions from every one of them. Few jobs ask more of engineers, scientists and operators. Few teach them more.

Arkhos people run platforms in the Norwegian Sea, liquefy gas in the Pilbara and prepare to store CO₂ under the North Sea. Most of them work in more than one of those businesses during their careers.

We hire about 2,400 people a year. Nearly half of our senior leaders joined us as graduates, apprentices or technicians, and our chief executive, Elena Varga, started here in 1998 as a reservoir engineer.

Work on assets that matter

Your work keeps 842 kboe/d moving to customers in 27 countries. Graduates in Perth sit on the Corvina LNG Train 2 commissioning team, and technicians in Stavanger run a platform that heats homes across northern Europe.

Learn across the value chain

Move between upstream, LNG, refining, trading and low-carbon teams. Graduates work in three teams before they choose a discipline, and experienced hires can apply for an internal move after 18 months in role.

Help lead the transition

Low-carbon spending rises from 11% of our capital program to 18% by 2030. Our teams are building Skerry Point CCS, solar power in Oman and the Baltic Wind JV, and cutting methane at every operated site.

Three colleagues on three continents, at three different stages of their careers.

Corvina LNG · Pilbara, Western Australia

Two years after graduating I was running the commissioning plan for a refrigerant compressor on Train 2. Nobody asked me to wait my turn.
Priya Raman
Process Engineer · Graduate intake 2023

Heron FPSO · Offshore Nigeria

I came offshore as a production technician in 2009. Today I supervise the control room on Heron, and Arkhos paid for my engineering degree along the way.
Chinedu Okafor
Control Room Supervisor · Joined 2009

Skerry Point CCS · Aberdeen, UK

I moved from gas reservoirs to CO₂ storage in 2023 to work on Skerry Point. The rock skills are the same. From 2027 we put the carbon back underground.
