Built on five decades of reading the rock.

Arkhos began in 1971 as a three-person exploration company with a single lease in the Permian Basin. Today 21,400 people in 27 countries find, produce and deliver energy with the same respect for the subsurface.

Our purpose is to supply the energy people rely on, safely and with the lowest emissions we can achieve. Four values decide how we do it, on every site and in every boardroom.

Arkhos was founded by geologists who believed that patient, careful work in the subsurface would outlast any boom. That belief still shapes how we choose projects, treat partners and measure success.

Our values are written into the Code of Conduct, every performance review and the annual bonus. Safety and emissions measures make up 30% of the scorecard that sets executive pay, and an independent assurer checks the results.

Safety without exception

Everyone who works on an Arkhos site, employee or contractor, should go home in the same condition they arrived. Anyone can stop a job they believe is unsafe, and no one is ever penalised for doing so.

Respect for people and places

We earn our place in each community by listening first and by leaving land and water in better condition than we found them. Host communities share in local jobs, contracts and long-term investment.

Routine flaring −86% since 2016

Integrity in every barrel

We report what we measure, including the numbers that do not flatter us. Independent auditors check our reserves, emissions and payments to governments every year.

Climate targets third-party assured

Curiosity that compounds

Every well we drill teaches us something about the rock, and we make sure the next team can use it. That habit turned a Permian start-up into a company that processed 1.6 petabytes of seismic data in 2025.

Code of conduct

Our Code of Conduct sets out how we work with colleagues, partners, governments and communities. It applies to every employee, director and contractor, in every country.

Everyone completes training each year and confirms in writing that they have followed the Code. In 2025, 99.6% of employees completed the annual certification, and managers cannot receive a bonus until their teams have done so.

Speak-up line, available 24/7 in 30 languages

Anyone can raise a concern about Arkhos by phone or online, at any hour, in 30 languages. The line is run by an independent provider, and reports can be made anonymously where local law allows.

We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith. The Ethics and Compliance team reviews every report, and a summary goes to the Audit and Risk Committee each quarter. We received 412 reports in 2025.

Anti-bribery and corruption

We do not offer, pay or accept bribes or facilitation payments, anywhere and at any value. Agents, joint venture partners and suppliers in higher-risk countries pass risk-based due diligence before we sign a contract with them.

Our contracts give us the right to audit those partners, and we publish our payments to governments country by country every year.

Human rights and supply chain

We follow the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights wherever we operate. Every supplier signs our Supplier Code of Conduct.

We audit our highest-risk suppliers on site for labour conditions, recruitment fees and worker accommodation, and carried out 146 audits in 2025. Where we find a problem, we work with the supplier to fix it and track each finding to closure.

From our Chief Executive

Reading the rock taught us patience and rigour. We now apply the same discipline to how we cut emissions, how we treat our neighbours and where we invest the next dollar.
